Typical Solutions
Solar Power Plant (SPP) is an engineering complex, which is used to convert solar radiation into electrical energy.
SPP might be installed at land lots with use of stationary modular units joined in rows, arrays and fields; as well as on the roofs and walls of buildings. It is necessary to install solar panels under the best angle for direct sunlight, that maximizes its efficiency throughout the year.
The value of “Green” tariff on power energy is determined by the coefficients set for every type of SPP; the action of “Green” tariff shall be in force till the year 2030, with 10% reduction every five years starting after 2014 for SPP newly put into operation:

The structure of “green” tariff shall include a Local Share, which determines cost of equipment, materials, services of Ukrainian origin. Scope of Local Share depends on time frames when power plant starts its operation. Starting from 2013 there is an additional requirement for SPP that cost of solar modules of Ukrainian origin shall be included to “green” tariff .
On-Site SPP Typical Project
Main objective:

To sell all scope of electricity produced by on-site SPP to the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) by “Green” tariff.
Main description:
- Type – on-site module SPP;
- Land lot area for SPP location – 10 Hа;
- Close location to the 35-110 kV external power networks;
- Installed capacity of SPP – 5 МW;
- Coefficient of efficiency at spring-summer season makes 70% (3.5 MW), autumn-winter – 30% (1.5 MW);
Approximate electricity output makes 6 million kW•hour/year.

Roof-Top SPP Typical Project
Main objective of the project:

To sell all scope of the electricity produced by roof-top SPP to the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) by “Green” tariff.
Main description:
- Type – PV roof system;
- Roof area for SPP location – at least 2000 m2;
- Installed capacity of SPP – 100 kW;
- Coefficient of efficiency at spring-summer season makes 70% (70 kW), autumn-winter – 30% (30 kW);
- Approximate electricity output makes 12 thousands kW•hour/year.
