Construction of wind power stations

One of the «Strommontazh» activity fields is a construction of wind power plants in Ukraine. Along with possibility to become an independent source of electric power, Wind Park makes it possible to sell electrical energy at feed-in tariff.

Group of wind powered generators, located on one small area is called a wind park or wind power station. Large power station can combine more then hundred of separate wind powered generators. Sometimes it is referred to as a «wind farm».

It is reasonable to install wind powered generators in the areas with average design speed of wind 4.5 m/s. Above all construction of wind farms is performed on the heights: mountains, hills, etc. Wind powered generators are produced on the special 200 m height structures.

There are several types of wind power stations:

• independence from the pipeline and the price of oil and oil products, which guarantee both the political and economic independence of States;
• environmental safety, no pollution waste oil refining;
• economy, the ability to produce electricity at a lower price, not to depend on the price of oil on the world market.

There are also powerful floating wind generators being developed currently.

«Strommontazh» experts are using technologies, making it possible to build reliable and productive wind power plants that are becoming more and more popular in Ukraine due to the efficiency of feed-in tariff –special purchasing tariff on electrical energy that is obtained from natural sources.
